2025 Convention
The SD31 Republicans 2025 Convention will be held:
Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
at
Refuge Golf Club,
21250 Yellow Pine St NW, Oak Grove, MN 55011
Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. and closes 30 minutes after the convention is called to order.
The Senate District 31 Republican Party Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU) shall be composed of delegates and alternates elected at the 2024 precinct caucuses.
The convention shall be held for the purpose of:
- Electing SD 31 officers (chair, treasurer, secretary, deputy chairs, and vice chairs).
- Electing delegates and alternates to the State Central Committee.
- Review and approval of proposed changes to the SD31 Republicans Constitution.
- Transaction of other business as may properly come before the convention.
Convention Registration
There is no fee for this convention, however, you must register to attend. We encourage delegates and alternates to register for the convention as soon as possible so that we can plan to accommodate all attendees. Guests are welcome to attend but they must be sponsored by a current SD31 BPOU delegate or alternate.
In-person registration on the day of the convention will be accepted.

Running for Executive Committee
Anyone seeking to run for an SD 31 officer position must appear before the Search and Nominating Committee. For more information, please contact the Search and Nominating Committee Chair, Jeri Bates at finnishgirl1968@hotmail.com.
Running for State Central Committee Delegate or Alternate
Anyone seeking election as a State Central Committee delegate or alternate must sign up on the self-nominating form at the registration desk at the convention. Nominations for delegates and alternates will remain open for ten (10) minutes after adoption of the convention rules.
